Issue: Friday, 23 November, 2012
Event: Saturday 24th November - Halifax Piece Hall

The newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner, Mark Burns-Williamson is to consult with people in Calderdale about the issues that matter most to them. (Saturday 24th November)

This is part of a much wider consultation on police and crime prevention priorities across West Yorkshire.

Mark and his consultation team will join the police, fire, ambulance and other public safety organisations at the annual Emergency Services Day at the Piece Hall on Saturday.

Police and Crime Commissioner, Mark Burns-Williamson, said: "I am keen to ensure that as many people as possible across West Yorkshire can tell me about their policing priorities and how they think the police budget should be spent. That way I can make sure the voices in Calderdale are not just heard and their views are implemented in a real way.

"The event is a great chance for me to listen to people's priorities directly and I am looking forward to meeting everyone."
